| I had known the postcards all my life and had looked at them on many occasions. In 1992 I consulted an American genealogist in an attempt to trace my Mother's origins. He noticed that the postcards followed her route across America from Miami Beach to Santa Barbara and later from the west coast to New York where she departed for England in 1931. She once stated that all the places depicted by the postcards not been visited. |
