The Court Baron and Customary Court of Dimissions of the Right Honourable WILLIAM Earl of Lonsdale Lord of the said Manor, held at Bampton Grange within and for the said Manor on Wednesday the twenty first Day of March 1810

Before JOHN RICHARDSON, Esq., Steward of the said Manor.

To this Court came George Dixon of Calthwaite Esquire upon the surrender of the Reverend William Rawes

and prayed to take of the Lord of the said Manor, A Messuage and Tenement and several parcels of Arable Meadow and Pasture Ground situate lying and being at Swindale with the Appurtenances within the said Manor of the yearly Customary Rent of seven shillings and sixpence (formerly Curwens)

Customary Rent £0 . 7s . 6d    Fine £3 . 15. 0

Whereupon the said Lord, by his said Steward, doth hereby admit the said George Dixon Tenant of the said Premises, on Payment of three pounds and fifteen shillings for a fine, To have and to hold the said Premises, with the Appurtenances unto the said George Dixon according to the Custom of the said Manor, Yielding and Paying therefore the said yearly Rent at the Days and Times accustomed, and all other Dues, Duties, Suits, Boons, and Services, therefore due, and of Right accustomed.
