These are bound annual volumes on open shelves in the HEICS Library. They are published in the form of trade directories and cover every aspect of the company, including copious lists of Company employees, ships officers and military personnel. They have not been fully searched for the name Rawes.
1828:

  • Capt. J.V. Baker, 1st Assistant, serving Clerk to the Committee of Shipping and Paymaster of Seaman's wages, India House.

In 1829, Mr. Baker was to become Captain Rawes's superior (Bromley Line).
