[Will:]
In the name of God Amen, the year of our Lord God, a thousand fyve hundred fifte and seven, and the xxiiijth daye of Aprill. I Syr John Rawe, Parsone of the parishe churche of Exton, in the diocese of Wynchester, whole mynded, to God I give thankes, therefore, make and ordayne the present testament and laste will as hereafter. Firste I give and bequethe my soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creatour, and also my bodie by him foremade, to be buried in chancell of the saide churche as sone as the temporall life is from him departed. Item, I bequeth to the said churche of Exton, a Paier of vestments and a cape of blue vellet. Item, I bequethe to the aforenamed churche two clothes of rede and popengay grene paned of of Satenabrigges prepared for the sepulchre. Item, I bequethe to the said churche of Exton one chalice which laye with me in plegge for a certaine some of money. Item I bequethe to the churche a banner clothe of silke panede. Item, I bequethe to the said churche my surples, and the bagge that he is carried in. Item, I bequethe to everye of my God childerine vid a pece. Item, I bequethe to Christofer Wyete, Morgayne Hether, Wylliame Lythmane[?], Wylliam Bowcher, Wylliam Shander [Chandler?] xiid a pece to everie of the saide pooer men. Item, I will that my successour shall have fouer markes in case he wille content to take it for delapiatione, and if he will not, then the said fouer marks to be no bequest at all. Item, I bequethe to Thomas Cleverley my paier of Andyrons. Item, I will that Harrie Brabon shall be my overseer of this my testament and laste will, to see it performed according to my will,

and to have for his labour x0s & Describige[?] him the some what to take the more paynes therein, and to see a good order kept between my Executors, the mother and the sone, that the one do not wronge the other. Item, I will that my hostes Johan Power shall have my greate cheste for her parte while she life; The residue of all goodes I geve and bequethe to Johan Power widow, and to Thomas Power her eldeste sone, whome I make my executors to dispose for the wealthe of my soule as God shall move them to do. Witnes hereto Mr Goldsmythe, Rycharde Parsone, Robert Baker, John Parsone, John Basset, Wylliam Lomas, with others ----.
