[Page 200:] In the name of God Amen / I Susanna Rawes in the County / of Gloucester, Widow being of sound disposing / mind memory and understanding but mindful / of my mortality do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament In manner / and form following. First I commend my soul / into the hands of almighty God my creator and / redeemer and my body commit to the earth / to be decently Interred In the parish church of / Chedworth in the said County of Gloucester In / the same ground with my beloved husband / James Rawes late Vicar of that Parish. And as / to all my worldly Estate and Effects I dispose / of the same in the manner following. That is to say I desire that all my just debts, funeral expences, expences in proving this my last Will and / settling my affairs may be fully paid by my / executor herein after named, and I give / and bequeath unto my sister in law / Susanna Powell the sum of ten pounds. I also / give and bequeath unto James Rawes Porter the / son of George Porter and Elizabeth his wife fifty / pounds. I also give and bequeath unto my / niece Mary Rawes one hundred pounds and the / miniature picture of her aunt and my dear / husband. I give and bequeath unto my nephew / Gerard Rawes my amethist ring set round with / brilliants. I also give and bequeath unto / my nephew John Rawes my silver waiter on / on which there is an Inscription to his uncle as / also my library of books. I also give and / bequeath unto my nephews John Robinson and / John Walker who are trustees to my ffathers / Will ten pounds each to be paid to them at / the time they give up their trusts to my / executors herein after named. I also give and / bequeath unto my ffriend Sarah Tony of the / City of London fifty pounds. I also give and / bequeath unto my beloved ffriend Martha / Patterson widow of Norwich the sum of ten / pounds for a ring.
