[Will Transcript:] I John Raws of Crosby Ravensworth in the County of Westmorland / Yeoman, Do make and declare this my last Will & Testament in / manner & form following: That is to say, I give & devise to my son / John Raws all & every my messuages lands tenements and / hereditaments with the appurtenances whereof I am seized in / Fee, situate lying & being at Fawcett Mill in the parish of / Orton & County aforesaid To have & to hold all & every the said / Freehold messuages lands Tenements & Hereditaments with the / appurtenances to him the said John Raws his heirs & assigns / for ever charged with & subject to the payment of the Legacies / herein after bequeathed. I give & bequeath to my daughter / Betty Bowman one hundred & thirty pounds Also I give & / bequeath to my daughter Ann Raws one hundred & thirty / pounds. I also give & bequeath to my daughter Jane Raws / one hundred & thirty pounds Also I give & bequeath to my / daughter Mary Boak one hundred pounds all which / legacies I will & direct to be paid out of my said freehold / Estate at the end of one year after my decease. All my / personal Estate & effects whatsoever, after the payment of my / just debts & testamentary expences, I give & bequeath / to my son John Raws whom I do hereby nominate & constitute / sole executor of this my last will & testament. In witness / whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this fifteenth / day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand eight / hundred & fifteen. John Raws [signed].
