To the Reverend and Worshipful George / Markham Doctor in Divinity Commissary in / and throughout the whole Archdeaconary of / Richmond and in the Diocese of Chester lawfully constituted.

I Stephen Lushington Doctor of Laws / Surrograte of the Right Honorable Sir John Nicholl / Knight also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary / of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury. Withall due / Reverence I hereby certify and make known unto you / that on Thursday the 30th Day of July / in the year of Our Lord 1818 Appeared Personally / Alice Raws Spinster the natural and / lawful Daughter and one of the next of Kin of / Alice Raws late of Lancaster in the County / of Lancaster Widow deceased, and presented unto / me the Requisition annexed and prayed that in / aid of the Law I would take upon me the / execution thereof at whose Petition having first / received the said Requisition I decreed the same to / be executed and did then immediately administer / unto the said Alice Raws laying her right / hand on the Holy Bible, the Oath at ------[?] / the said Requisition And I further certify that the / said Alice Raws and Rawlins Satterhwaite & John Bayford / her Trustee did in my presence duly execute the / Bond annexed to the said Requisition which being done / I decreed your said Letters of Request to be transmitted unto / you and in greater Testimony of the Premises I have ----[?] / the Seal of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury to be / affixed to these Presents and have subscribed my / name thereto:

A Bond in the sum of 200 pounds dated 13th July 1818 taken out by Alice Raws of Waltham Abbey, Co. Essex spinster, the natural daughter and one of the next of kin of Alice Raws late of Lancaster, Co. Lancaster in the Archdeaconry of Richmond in the Diocese of Chester, widow deceased who died 16th November 1816. Sureties by Rawlins Sutherthwaite of the same place Esq., and John Bayford of Doctors Commons, London. Gent. Signed by above three persons.

Alice Raws the daughter swears that the Intestate died with no personal estate and effects and was not possessed or entitled to any Leasehold Estate or Estates for years at the time of her decease.
