This is the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Rawes / of Silverdale in the County of Lancaster Spinster. In the first place / I order and direct all my just debts, funeral and testamentary / expences to be paid off and discharged by my Executors / hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my / decease. Item. I give and bequeath the following Legacies or sums of money, that is to say. Unto Margaret Camill of / Liverpool Wife of William Camill[?] of the same place, Gentleman the sum / of nineteen pounds and nineteen shillings: Unto Mary / Hutton of Burnley in the said County of Lancaster Spinster / the sum of nineteen pounds and nineteen shillings and / unto John Jackson of Silverdale aforesaid, Labourer, / the sum of ten pounds. I also give and bequeath unto my / Executors hereinafter named the sum of nineteen pounds / and nineteen shillings to be by them applied for and / towards the maintenance and support of John Rawes / the natural Son of my Daughter Ann Rawes in such / manner and form as to them my said Executors may / seem meet and proper: and also the sum of nineteen / pounds and nineteen shillings to be by them in like / manner applied for and towards the maintenance and / support of Robert Rawes the natural Son of my said / Daughter Ann Rawes. I also give and bequeath unto my / said Executors the sum of forty pounds to be by them / placed out and invested as they may think proper and to / pay and apply the interest and annual proceeds therof / for and towards the maintenance education and / support of Mary Rawes the natural Daughter of my / said Daughter Ann Rawes until she shall attain the / age of twenty two years and on the said Mary Rawes / attaining her said age of Twenty Two years Then upon / Trust to pay the said sum principal of forty pounds unto her the said Mary Rawes. And in case any of / them my said Legatees shall happen to depart this / life before his or her Legacy shall have become due / and payable leaving lawful issue such issue to take / their deceased parents share per stirpes and not per / capita. And in case any of them my said Legatees / shall happen to depart this life before his or her / Legacy shall have become due and payable without / leaving lawful issue the share or shares to which / he she or they would have become entitled to go and / be divided unto and equally amonst them the said / Margaret Camill[?], Mary Hutton, John Rawes, Robert / Rawes and Mary Rawes share and share alike

and the issue of such of them as shall have departed / this life leaving lawful issue, such issue to take the share / or shares unto which their deceased parents would / have been entitled share and share alike per stirpes / and not per capita. All the rest residue and remaining / of my estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever / and of what nature and kind soever the same may / be I give and bequeath unto and equally amongst / the said Margaret Camill, Mary Hutton, John Rawes / Robert Rawes and Mary Rawes in manner and / form aforesaid. And I do hereby declare and / direct that them my said Executors shall not one / of them be answerable or accountable for the acts / or defaults of the other of them but each of them for / his own acts and defaults only; nor for any loss which / may happen to the said trust estate and premises unless / such loss shall happen by or through his or their / wilful default or negligence. And I hereby appoint / Amos Jackson of Silverdale aforesaid, Yeoman and / James Barton Armistead of the same place Yeoman / executors and trustees of this my said Will hereby revoking / all former and other Will or Wills, Codicil and / Codicils by me at any time heretofore made and do / declare this alone to be my last and only subsisting / Will and Testament. I witnwss whereof I have / to this my Will set my hand and seal this / seventeenth day of October in the year of our / Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty /

On the thirtieth day of May one thousand eight hundred / and thirty three this Will of Elizabeth Rawes late of Silverdale / in the parish of Warton in the County of Lancaster within the / Archdeaconry of Richmond and Diocese of Chester Spinster who / departed this life in the month of December last was / proved in common form and Amos Jackson of Silverdale / aforesaid Yeoman one of the Executors therin named was / sworn well and faithfully to execute and perform the same / and so forth (power being reserved for James Barton, / Armistead the other Executor therin named) and that according / to the best of the knowledge information and belief of the said / Amos Jackson the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of / which the said Testarix died possessed within the Archdeaconry / and Diocese aforesaid (exclusive of what the Testatrix might have / been possessed of or entitled to as Trustee for any other person / or persons and not beneficially and without deducting any / thing on account of the debts due and owing by and / from the said Testatrix were under the Value of Three / hundred pounds.
