This is the last Will and Testament of me / John Rawes of Fawcet Mill in the parish of / Orton and County of Westmorland Yeoman Viz. I / give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary the / sum of Four hundred pounds to be paid at / the end of twelve months after my Decease by / my son John Rawes out of my Freehold Estate / called Fawcet Mill I give and devise unto my / son John Rawes all my Freehold Estate / called Fawcet Mill with all my Lands and Grounds / in the parish and County aforesaid with all the / Appurtenances thereunto belonging to have and / to hold the said John Rawes his Heirs and / Assigns for ever Subject and chargeable with

All my just Debts and Legacies bequeathed. And I / appoint my wife Agnes Rawes sole Executrix of / this my Will to whom I give all my Goods Chattels / Credits and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever she / paying my Funeral Expences and Testamentary / charges In Witness whereof I have hereunto set / my hand and seal ninth day of December in / the year of our Lord God One thousand and eight hundred / and thirty three 1833 John Rawes (ls) signed sealed / published and declared by the above named John / Rawes as and for his last Will and Testament in / the presence of us at his request in his presence / and in the presence of each other have subscribed / our names as Witnesses to the due execution hereof / Richard Sharp - William Stubbs - Elizabeth - Elizabeth - / Potter her X mark.
