[Abstract:]
In the Consistory Court of Carlisle, Hugh the Lord Bishop of Carlisle and Robert Milner Vicar of Orton Co. Westmorland and Diocese of Carlisle concerning Agnes Rawes late of Fawcett Mill, Orton, Widow, died 9th April 1838 intestate according to Mary the wife of Thomas Thompson the lawful daughter and one of the next of kin of Agnes. Sureties given by Mary and Thomas Thompson to administer the effects of Agnes Rawes, 21st May 1838. The value of the effects did not exceed £300.
