ROBERT BOOTH RAWES OF BROMLEY

Will of Robert Booth Rawes of Bromley, Kent. Made 21st August 1841. Proved 18th December 1841 at London. (PRO PCC Prob.11/1955). (Bromley Line)
This is the last Will and Testament / of me Robert Booth Rawes of Bromley Kent I desire to be buried at as / small expense as may be and I leave and bequeath all my estate real / and personal goods moneys chattels whatsoever and wheresoever / equally between my dear sister Mary Rawes and my brother William / Thompson Rawes with benefit of survivorship always however / [-------nding] to the latter to allow the former the full benefit of at least two / thirds of the yearly product or income of said property lands tenements and so long as shall wish to reside alone and not with her sister E.R.P / and I hereby nominate and appoint my said dear brother and / sister Executer and Executrix of this my last will. / Signed sealed and delivered this twenty first day of August / in the year of our redemption 1841 in the presence of R B Rawes (ls) / Witnesses - Jane Gwynn - Mary Sandy.

In the Prerogative Court of Canterbury / In the Goods of Robert Booth Rawes Esquire deceased.

Appeared Personally - Jane Gwynn of / Widmore Lane Bromley in the county of Kent Spinster one of the subscribed / witnesses to the last will and Testament of the said Robert Booth Rawes / late of Bromley in the county of Kent Esquire deceased bearing date the / twenty first day of August one thousand eight hundred and forty one and now / hereunto annexed and made oath that on the said twenty first day of August / the said testator duly executed his said will by signing his name at the foot or / and thereof in the presence of this deponent and of Mary Sandy Spinster the / other subscribing witness thereto who were both present at the same time / and this deponant and the said Mary Sandy thereupon attested and / subscribed the said will in the presence of the said testator - Jane Gwynn / on the eighth day of December 1841 the said Jane Gwynn was duly sworn / to the truth of this affidavit Before me J.E.P. Proved at London 18th Decr 1841 before the worshipful John Elliot / Pasley Robertson Doctor of Laws & Surrogate by the oath of William / Thompson Rawes Esqr the brother one of the Executors to whom Admon / making the life Grant to Mary Rawes Spinster the sister the other Executor which she shall for the same.
