This is the last Will and Testament / of Elizabeth Rawse of Crosby Ravensworth in the Parish / of Crosby Ravensworth Co. Westmorland. / I give and bequeath to my Sister Jane Hodgson and her / heirs? the sum of Fifty pounds I give and bequeath / unto the four children of my Sister Jane Hodgson / the sum of five hundred pounds each. I give and bequeath / to my nephew William Holme the sum of fifty pounds / and to my nephew Adam Holme the sum of ten pounds / and to my four nieces, Elizabeth Holme, Janet Holme, / Elizabeth Holme and Mary Holme, the sum of five / pounds each. And as to the residue of my personal / Estate whatsoever and wheresoever, and of / what kind soever, I give and bequeath the same to / my sister Isabella Holme, whom I hereby nominate / and appoint to be my Executrix to this my last Will / Dated 6th October 1840 / (signed) Elizabeth Rawse / her X mark / Signed sealed published and / declared as and for the last Will and Testament of / the said Elizabeth Rawse in the presence of us, who / in her presence, and in the presence of us who / in her presence and in the presence of each other have / hereunto set our hands as witnesses thereto on the day and date above written, Signed, Henry / Holme, John Sutherland Witnesses / Effects under four hundred and fifty pounds proved by Isabella / Holme sole Executrix 9th February 1846.
