[Page 379] This is the last Will and Testament of me / Thomas Rawes of Keld, farmer, near Shap in the County / of Westmorland and diocese of Carlisle, that is to say. First I / give and bequeath to my wife Eleanor Rawes the whole / of my stock and crop all my household Furniture, Beds / Bedding and linen. Also all my husbandry Implements / and dairy Utensils during the term of her natural life / and at her decease I direct the same be equally / divided amongst my surviving children, but should my / children not agree I further direct that the same shall be / sold and the proceeds arising from the sale thereof be equally / divided amongst them. I also give and bequeath to my / said wife during the term of her natural life the / yearly interest of Seven hundred and twenty pounds
