This is the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Rawes made on the / 26th day of February 1861 in the parish of Caldbeck in the County of Cumberland. I give and / devise to my son William Rawes my only child the whole of my personal property whatsoever / and wheresoever it may be; and I leave to my brother William Rawes as my sole Executor. As / Witnesses whereof we sign our hands and Seal - Elizabeth Rawes -- X -- / Witnesses -- Thos: Jennings (£5) -- Thomas Bell (£5) -- Signed sealed / and delivered in the presence of each other who are the presence of the testator.

In the Carlisle Court of Probate Thomas Bell of Caldbeck, Labourer and Thomas Jennings the other witness swear they were in the presence of the Testatrix Elizabeth Rawes Spinster when they subscribed her Will 26th February 1861. Oath before James Thwaytes surrogate to the Court of Probate 26th February 1862.

On the twenty sixth day of February 1862 the Will / of Elizabeth Rawes late of Caldbeck in the County of Cumberland / Spinster deceased was proved by the Oath of William / Rawes the brother and sole Executor named in the / said Will having been first sworn to administer.
