This is the Last Will and Testament / of me Sarah Rawes of Manchester in the county of Lancaster Spinster I will / and direct that all my just[?] debts funeral
and testamentary expenses be paid by / my executrix and executor hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be / after my decease I give devise and
bequeath unto Elizabeth Amelia Mason of / Watersville Road, Upper Hornsey Rise, Middlesex, Widow and Chadd Ragsdale / Randall of 14 Bakerhouse[?]
Yard, Solicitor, my executrix and executor hereinafter / named all the estate share and interest which at my decease I may be seized / or possessed of or
entitled to in the lands dwellinghouses and other properties / situate in Coventry or elsewhere and all other my real estate and also all / my Personal estate
whatsoever and wheresoever be held that same unto the / said Elizabeth Amelia Mason and Chadd Ragsdale Randall their heirs / executors and administrators
according to the several natures and qualities / thereof respectively[?] upon trust for Frances Mason Pratt and Catherine Clarke / the children of my late cousin
Martha Clarke widow of Francis Clarke late of Manchester deceased and Helen Mauguall[?] the youngest of my late cousin Martha Mauguall[?] and
granddaughter of the said / Martha Clarke share and share alike as tenant in common and in case any / or other of them the said Frances Mason Pratt and
Catherine and Helen / Mauguall[?] shall be in my lifetime leaving lawful issue such issue shall / stand in the place of their deceased parent and take such
estate and interest / under this my Will as such deceased parent would have taken if she had / survived and I do hereby fully authorise and empower the said
Elizabeth / Amelia Mason and Chadd Ragsdale Randall and the survivor of them her and / his heirs or assigns if he she or they in his or their absolute
discretion shall / think it advisable to be so of their or his own proper authority and without the / consent or concurrance of any or either of the persons
beneficially interested therein / to sell and absolutely dispose of all or any part of my said estate and effects in / anyway he she or they may think proper and to
receive the purchase money for / the same and to give value and effectual receipts and discharges for such purchase / money which receipts shall effectually
discharge the purchaser or respective purchasers / from all responsibility in respect of the application of the money which in any such / receipt shall be
expressed to have been received And that the said Elizabeth Amelia / Mason and Chadd Ragsdale Randall their executors or administrators shall have /
assessed attending the same upon trust for the persons who would have been / entitled to the said estate under this my Will in case it had not been sold And I
/ hereby appoint the said Elizabeth Amelia Mason and Chadd Ragsdale Randall executrix and executor of this my Will and revoke all former Wills by / me at
any time made and declare this only to be my last Will and Testament in / witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 30th March / 1860 - Sarah Rawes
- signed by the said Sarah Rawes as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us / both present at the same time who in her presence at her
request and in the / presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our name as witnesses - Thomas / Parsons[?] - Edward Cheshire.
