Will of William Rawes of Newby, Morland, Westmorland. Made 11th May 1875. Proved 20th November 1875 at Carlisle. (Anthony Line)
This is the last Will and Testament of me William Rawes of / Newby in the parish of Morland in the County of Westmorland, Gentleman. I give and / bequeath unto my wife Sarah Rawes all my personal Estate Household Furniture / including Beds Bedding and Domestic requisites to her own private use absolutely I / appoint my said wife Sarah Rawes sole Executrix to this my Will hereby revoking all / former Wills and declare this alone to contain my last Will and Testament In / witness whereof I the said Testator, William Rawes have to this my Will contained on one / sheet of paper subscribed my name this the eleventh day of May one thousand eight hundred and seventy five.

us present at the same time who in his presence at his request           William Rawes [signed]
and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed
our names as witnesses.

the Oath of Sarah Rawes, widow relict of the testator, the sole
Executrix named in the Will to who Administration was
granted

The Testator William Rawes was late of Newby in the parish of Morland in the
County of Westmorland, Gentleman and died on the ninth day of October 1875 at
Newby aforesaid.
