This is the last Will and Testament / of me Joseph Rawes of No.11 Carbilly Cottages, Beadnell Road, Forest
Hill, / in the County of Kent, Gentleman. I appoint my friend Henry Augustus Eliot a / Clerk in the Bank of
England and my nephew John Gerrard Rawes / Executors of this my Will I give devise and bequeath unto Mary Harvey /
wife of William Harvey now living with me as my House Keeper all that my / leasehold house No.11 Carbilly Cottages
in which I now reside together with all / the furniture and effects in and about the same at my decease for her
own absolute / use and benefit free from the debts or engagements of her present ot any future / future with power
to dispose of the same by deed or will notwithstanding her / coverture and her receipt alone shall be a good
discharge to any purchaser in the / event of her selling the same I give to the said Henry Augustus Eliot £5 / for
a ring I direct the payment of all my just debts and funeral and testa / mentary expenses and subject to the
payment thereof I give devise and bequeath / all the rest and residue and remainder of my estate of whatever
nature or kind the / same may be unto my said nephew John Gerrard Rawes for his own use and / benefit I hereby
revoke all former Wills and declare this to be my last Will and / Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand this first day of / March one thousand eight hundred and seventy nine - Joseph Rawes - / Signed by
