Be it known that Richard Rawes of Tailbert, Shap / in the County of Westmorland, Farmer / who at the time of his death had a fixed place of abode at / Tailbert aforesaid within the District / of the Counties of Cumberland and Westmorland / died on the second day of February 1903 / at Tailbert aforesaid / intestate a widower.

And be it further known that the date hereunder written Letters / of Administration of all the estate which by law devolves to and vests in the personal / representative of the said intestate were granted by His Majesty's High Court of / Justice at the District Probate Registry thereof at Carlisle / to Lancelot Rawes of Tailbert aforesaid / Farmer the natural and lawful son and only / next of kin / of the said intestate.
