This is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Ann Rawes of Brooklyn / Stainton Penrith in the County of
Cumberland Widow I hereby revoke all former Wills / and testamentary dispositions made by me and declare
this to be my last Will and / Testament I appont my stepsons William Rawes of Saint Luke's Hospital Old
Street / in the County of London Doctor of Medecine and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons / and
Frederick Renshaw Rawes of Builth in the County of Brecon Solicitor (hereinafter / called "my Trustees") to
be the executors of this my Will I give to the said / William Rawes the sum of fifty pounds absolutely I give
to the said Frederick Renshaw / Rawes the sum of fifty pounds absolutely I give my fourteen silver cups which
belonged / to my husband the late John Fenton unto his nephew John Fenton Taylor who is now / abroad provided
he returns to England and communicates his address in this / country to my Trustees within twelve calendar
months from the date of my decease but / if he shall not return to England and communicate his address in this
country to my / Trustees within such period of twelve calendar months as aforesaid then I give and / bequeath
the said fourteen silver cups unto my brother Robert Stockbridge of Clift / House Kirklinton Carlisle in the
County of Cumberland absolutely I declare that all / the said legacies hereinbefore bequeathed shall be free
from duty which shall be paid out / of my general personal estate I give all my plate and plated goods (other
than / the said silver cups hereinbefore bequeathed) linen glass china beds bedding and books / unto my stepson
John Rawes of Brooklyn Stainton aforesaid I give devise / and bequeath all the residue of my estate and effects
whether real or personal (hereinafter / called "my residuary estate") unto my Trustees Upon Trust after payment
thereout of all / my funeral expenses and debts and the duties on the legacies hereinbefore / bequeathed free of
duty to pay and divide the same between my stepsons the said John / Rawes and Isaac Rawes of 8 Victoria Road
Penrith aforesaid in equal shares as tenents / in common Provided always and I declare that if my Trustees shall
in their uncontrolled / discretion deem it necessary or expedient that my residual estate or any part or parts /
thereof should be sold and converted into money whether for the purpose of distribution / or otherwise then I
empower them to sell and dispose of the same or any part or parts / thereof either by public auction or private
contract at such time or times and in such / manner as they shall in their discretion think fit In witness
whereof I have hereunto / set my hand this nineteenth day of May One thousand nine hundred and eight / - Mary Ann
