This is the Last Will and Testament of me Sarah Rawes of Stramongate Kendal in the County of Westmorland Widow. 1 I hereby revoke all testamentary writings heretofore made by me. 2 I appoint Richard Hargraves Greenwood of Kendal Solicitor (hereinafter called my Trustee) to be the Executor and Trustee hereof. 3 I give and devise all my real estate to my Trustee Upon Trust to sell the same either by public auction or private contract as he in his uncontrolled discretion may think fit and to stand possessed of the proceeds thereof upon the same trusts as are hereinafter declared concerning the residue of my personal estate. 4 I give and bequeath all my personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever to my Trustee Upon Trust to sell call in and convert into money the same after payment thereout of my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts to stand possessed of the residue thereof Upon Trust for my two daughters Sarah Jane Airey and Margaret Matthews in equal shares absolutely Provided that if either shall die in my lifetime the whole to be in trust subject to Clause 5 hereof for the survivor absolutely. 5 Provided Always that if either of my said daughters shall die in my lifetime leaving a child or children such child or children shall take and if more than one equally between them the share which his or her or their parent would have taken in such parent had survived me. 5 I direct that the said Richard Hargraves Greenwood shall notwithstanding his acceptance of the office of Trustee and Executor of my Will and in acting in the execution hereof be entitled to make the same professional charges and to receive the same pecuniary emoluments and remuneration for all business done by him and all attendances time and trouble given or bestowed by him in or about the execution of the trusts and powers of this my Will or the management and administration of my trust estate real or personal as if he not being himself a Trustee or Executor of my Will were employed without prejudice to the right or competence of the said Richard Hargraves Greenwood to exercise the authority control judgement and discretion of a Trustee of my Will.
