[Will:] This is the last Will and Testament of me / Wilson Rawes / of 33 Edith Street, Skerton, Lancaster, Lancs made the fourth day of January / in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty three. I hereby revoke all Wills / by me at any time heretofore made. I appoint my wife Emily Rawes of 33 Edith Street, Skerton, / Lancaster to be my Executrix and trustee and direct that all my just debts and funeral and testa- / mentary expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. I give and bequeath / unto Grandson Walter Wilson Rawes of 32 Carwinnock Road, Glasgow the following articles my signed / ring, small time piece presented to my late wife nee Miss Bentham the time piece Cabinet and / address presented to me when I left the Railway service. As regards the furniture one half at least / belongs to my wife Emily Rawes part of which she got from her father and part bought by her own private / means and as regards the other half and everything also belonging to me at my decease or to which I / may be entitled I leave to my wife Emily Rawes absolutely and appoint her sole Executrix and trustee.
