Will of Maggie Rawes of Lancaster. Made 17th February 1922. Proved Lancaster 8th November 1947. (Varey Line)

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me Maggie Rawes of 61 Dale Street Lancaster Spinster.

I appoint my Brother Edward Rawes and my Brother-in-Law John Davis Draper (hereinafter called my Trustees) to be the Executors and Trustees of this my Will.

I give all my property to my Trustees upon Trust to sell and convert the same into money and after payment of my debts funeral and testamentary expences to divide the residue equally between and amongst my Brothers and Sisters who shall survive me or the issue of any such Brothers and Sisters who may have predeceased me per stirpes and not per capita. And I direct that in case my sister Alice Bellas Draper shall predecease me without leaving issue then her share of my Estate shall go to and belong to her husband the said John Davis Draper for his own use absolutely.
