This is the last Will and Testament

of me

WILLIAM RAWES of Number 2 Westover Street, Morecambe and Heysham in the County of Lancaster, Grocery Branch Manager (Retired).

1. I give and bequeath the following articles namely: To my son Edward my Gold presentation Watch and gold chain and my presentation Bureau and To my daughter Gladys Mary my Piano.

2. I give devise and bequeath all the remainder of my property both real and personal whatsoever subject to the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses. To my dear wife Mary for her own use and benefit absolutely.

3. And I direct that should my said dear Wife predecease me then the whole of the residue of my Estate as aforesaid shall be divided equally between all my children who shall be living at the time of my decease.

4. And I appoint my sons Edward and Bernard to be the Executors and Trustees of this my Will.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty fifth day of July One thousand nine hundred and thirty five.

This is a Codicil to the last Will of me WILLIAM RAWES of 2 Westover Street, Morecombe and Heysham in the County of Lancaster Retired Grocery Manager which Will bears date Twenty Fifth day of July One Thousand Nine hHundred and Thirty Five.

1. I bequeath free of duty the sum of £50 to my Trustees to be applied by them for the benefit of my daughter Alice Lilian Rawes as they in their discretion shall consider best.

2. I direct my Trustees to erect a tombstone over my grave at a cost not exceeding £60.

3. In all other respects I confirm my said Will.

IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand this thirtieth day of August One Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty Six.

This is a second Codicil to the last Will of William Rawes of 7 Hanover Street, Morecombe and Heysham in the County of Lancaster, Grocer which Will bears date the twenty fifth day of July One thousand nine hundred and thirty five and a Codicil thereto dated the thirtieth day of August One thousand nine hundred and forty six

I give and bequeath free of duty to my son Eric Rawes my Oak Bedroom suite including the bed my sideboard and marble clock absolutely.

In all other respects I confirm my last Will and Codicil
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this Eighteenth day of March One thousand nine hundred and fifty two.
