This is the last Will and Testament of me Prescott Rawes of 77 Stoddens Road, Burnham-on-Sea in the County of Somerset, Gentleman which I hereby declare shall affect only my real and personal estate in the United Kingdom and no other part of my real or personal estate which I have devised and bequeathed by another Will of even date herewith such other Will to take effect concurrently and independently hereof.

1. I revoke all former Wills and Testamentary Instruments.

2. I bequeath to each of my children namely my sons Francis Roderick, Bernard Frederick and Michael and my daughter Marian Lavender the sum of £1000 free of all duties payable by reason of my death.

3. I devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate not hereby or by any Codicil hereunto otherwise specifically disposed of (including any real or personal property over which I may have any general power of appointment) to my wife Susanna May absolutely and I appoint her sole Executrix of this my Will.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this nineteeth day of September one thousand nine hundred and fifty-five.

Signed by the said Prescott Rawes as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us both being present at the same time who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

BE IT KNOWN that Prescott Rawes of 77 Stoddens Road, Burnham-on-Sea, Somersetshire was last seen alive on the 4th day of November 1955 and that his dead body was found on the 12th day of November 1955 at Hunt's Pond, Burnham-on-Sea aforesaid and that he died domiciled in England.

AND BE IT FURTHER KNOWN that at the date hereunto written the last Will and Testament as to the estate in the United Kingdom. (a copy whereof is annexed) of the said deceased was proved and registered in the Principal Probate Registry of the High Court of Justice and that Administration of all the estate in the United Kingdom which by law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court to Susanna May Rawes of 77 Stoddens Road aforesaid widow and relict of the deceased the sole Executrix in the said Will.

And it is hereby confirmed that an Inland Revenue affidavit has been delivered wherein it is shown the gross value of the said estate in Great Britain (exclusive of what the said deceased may have been possessed of or entitled to as a trustee and not beneficially) amounts to £7473 - 6 - 9 and that the net value of the estate amounts to £7386 - 17 - 3. And it is further certified that an Inland Revenue affidavit has been delivered wherein it is shown that the gross value of the said estate in Great Britain (exclusive of what the said deceased may have been possessed of or entitled to as a trustee and not beneficially amounts to £7473-6-9 and that the net value of the estate amounts to £7386-17-3. And it is further certified that it appears by a receipt signed by an Inland Revenue Officer on the said affidavit that £222-3-3 on account of estate duty and interest on such duty has been paid.
