BIRTHS & DEATHS Bible entries are of particular importance as they usually indicate the actual date of birth. Parish Registers usually only give the date of baptism, an event which can take place days, weeks, months or even years after the birth. This is also relevant to the date of death although the difference in time between death and burial is rarely more than a few days. |
